Description

The Tennessee corbels designed features classic foliate scrolls on the sides. The front of the corbel has a carved in deep relief floral motif. The graphic elegance of the carved design features on the Tennessee corbels is remarkable, especially in the balance between conventionalized elements and their adjacent space (between figures and their foreground). Each element, whether it is a foliate scroll on the sides of the corbels or the center flower with radiating leaves, is individual in succinct visual forms. The border scroll of the corbel presents a pure line work with precise geometrically spiraling terminals. These corbels are hand carved from premium selected North American hard maple, red oak, and cherry and are perfect for wall applications, finishing touches on the custom cabinets and fireplace mantels.
